Early pregnancy ultrasound in Glendale, Los Angeles County
A Pregnancy Check is a short, private ultrasound in the first 10 weeks. You watch the big screen, we show you what’s there, and you go home with pictures. It’s not a doctor’s office: no referral, no insurance forms, and often the same day.
Add your due date to see your own dates.
Call first if you can: we’ll tell you whether it’s the right week to come.
It’s one of the visits we’re booked for most. Nearly everyone comes for the same reason: to see it with their own eyes.

the room is yours
A Pregnancy Check is a keepsake visit, not a medical exam. Here is exactly what that means. Just had a positive test? Start here.
In the first 10 weeks, once there is something to see. Very early on there may not be, and it varies from one pregnancy to the next. That’s why we ask you to call (818) 243-7010 first.
Same-day appointments are often available. Open Mon–Sat 10am–5pm and Sun 10am–3pm, by appointment.
No referral and no insurance: you book with us directly. If we can’t help yet, we’ll say so before you come.
Price: $100
Most families come back. Add your due date and the planner works out the days for you.
Heartbeat-only visits are for families who already know they’re expecting and want to listen in. Call for the price and a time.
The Gender Confirmation, out loud or sealed in an envelope for the party.
4D Bonding: your baby moving, live, on the big screen.
Seven guides to the first weeks: what a scan can show and when, how it’s done, whether it’s safe and worth it, and the first scans after IVF.
What shows first, week by week, and why it’s so often too early to see.
The week to book if the heartbeat matters, and why you see it before you can hear it.
From the gel to the first picture: how to prepare, how it feels and what you’ll see.
Why early scans are often internal, what each kind feels like, and how to prepare.
What decades of medical use show, what’s still unknown, and why keepsake-only scans are discouraged.
What an early look can and can’t give you, and how to make one count.
When the clinic’s first scans happen, what each one checks, and the weeks before your first prenatal visit.
No. A Pregnancy Check is elective: you book with us directly and pay one price, $100. Insurance doesn’t cover keepsake visits.
Often, yes. Call (818) 243-7010 and we’ll tell you what’s open today. We’re open Mon–Sat 10am–5pm and Sun 10am–3pm, by appointment.
Yes. Visits are by appointment, and the viewing room is yours for your session, with only the people you bring.
There’s no hard rule. It varies from one pregnancy to the next, which is why we ask you to call first.
Very early on, that’s common: a pregnancy can be too small to show up yet. We tell you what we could and couldn’t see, and you come back for a second look, almost always at no charge. If you’re worried in the meantime, call your doctor or midwife.
They answer different questions. A home test picks up the pregnancy hormone, usually before an ultrasound can show anything at all. A Pregnancy Check adds the part a test can’t: seeing it. If your test is positive, your doctor or midwife is still your next call.
That comes from your doctor or midwife, who dates the pregnancy at a medical scan.
No. We’re not a medical provider, and a Pregnancy Check can’t rule anything in or out. If you’re worried, call your doctor or midwife today.
Not at a Pregnancy Check. Heartbeat-only visits start at 11 weeks, and at a Gender Confirmation, from 13 weeks, hearing the heartbeat is part of the session.
Anyone you like, or no one. Partners, family and friends are welcome.
Same-day appointments are often available. Pick a time online, or call and we’ll find one together.
