Gender Confirmation
We book from 13 weeks. From 15 weeks we’re more confident, and a second look is less likely. With twins, come at 14 to 15.
4D Bonding
Any time from 16 to 36 weeks. Come at 16 to 24 for the whole baby in one frame, or at 28 to 34 for faces. Past 36 weeks? Call (818) 243-7010 and we’ll tell you what’s possible.

How weeks are counted
Pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period, not from conception. So “13 weeks” means 13 weeks since that day, and your due date falls 40 weeks after it.
If you have a due date
Use it. If your doctor or midwife gave you a date from a scan, that’s the one to trust.
If you don’t
Open “No due date yet?” in the planner and put in the first day of your last period. It counts the weeks for you. Or type the number in the “Weeks today” box.
If your date changes
It happens after an early scan at the doctor’s. Come back and put the new date in. The planner’s dates move with it. If you’ve already booked, call us.
Questions about timing
Can I find out boy or girl and have a 4D session in one visit?
From 16 weeks, yes. 4D Bonding includes boy or girl, if you want to find out. Before 16 weeks, book a Gender Confirmation now and come back for 4D later.
What’s the single best week for 4D?
There isn’t one, because it depends what you want to see. For the whole baby in one frame, come at 16 to 24 weeks. For the face, come at 28 to 34.
I’m having twins. Does the timing change?
For a gender scan, come at 14 to 15 weeks rather than 13, and tell us when you book. For 4D with twins, call us first.
Do you keep my due date?
No. The planner runs in your browser and the date stays on your device. We never receive it. Clear it any time with the “Clear” link under the planner.
